  1. We will be in Torino this week and are thinking of going to Portofino and would like to take a day tour or ferry to CInque Terre. Is this doable? if so, which ferry or tour do you recommendation? Thank you!!

  2. If you are in Torino, I would only go to Portofino OR Cinque Terre – I suspect it is too much to do in a day. If you decide on Portofino, either go to Portofino from Santa Margharita or vice versa. Santa Margharita is quite pretty in its own right. If you decide on the Cinque Terre use the local ferry to go between the villages

    I just read about your trip to Giverny in Autumn….how lovely.

    I have not visited there yet, but definitely will one day and definitely out of season to enjoy it without the crowds as you did.

    I love Paris, will be going back in September this year, for my fourth visit, taking with me a friend from North Colorado who has never been before. I will be her ‘tour guide’ and we will stay in a lovely little apartment on the sixth floor just steps from Arc de Triomph.

    Giverny is a must…next time!
